OUR HISTORY
Happy Bellies Matters INC (HBM) has been established as a nonprofit organization under the laws of the state of Florida. Happy Bellies Matter (HBM) is a Florida not for-profit organization committed to provide whole foods meals to students who attend Sarasota County Schools. Our charitable mission is to create meal programs that provide proper nutrition with fresh, organic whole foods to enhance students grades, mental health and overall performance.Inherent in our charitable mission is educating students and sharing the benefits of whole foods and overall general wellbeing when eating a well balanced meal.
OUR VISION
Establish micro kitchens within the public & private school sector
HBM INC, will provide Micro kitchens will offer proper appliances, refrigeration, & supplies to cook meals on a daily basis
Provide meals with wholefoods; fruit, veggies, & grains which are free from harmful pesticides
Work with local farms, Florida Fresh Produce to source affordable wholefoods
Organize activities in conjunction with the micro kitchen to use as an educational platform
Conduct research on behaviors & grades within these schools
Solicit and receive grants, donations, financial support, sponsorships that allow for the furtherance of the mission of Healthy Bellies Matter INC.
